ในโอกาสนี้ อุปทูตฯ ได้กล่าวต้อนรับและแสดงความยินดีที่บริษัท RCL เข้าร่วมการประชุมดังกล่าว ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลระหว่างผู้ประกอบการขนส่งทางทะเลระหว่างประเทศกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของโอมาน เพื่อส่งเสริมความยืดหยุ่นและความต่อเนื่องของห่วงโซ่อุปทานทางทะเล ท่ามกลางสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งในภูมิภาคที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อภาคโลจิสติกส์

 

ผู้แทนบริษัท RCL ขอบคุณสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ สำหรับการสนับสนุนในการเข้าร่วมการประชุม โดยเห็นว่าการประชุมดังกล่าวเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการสร้างเครือข่ายกับผู้ขนส่งสินค้าทางทะเลระหว่างประเทศ รวมทั้งรับทราบถึงศักยภาพและความพร้อมของโอมานด้านโลจิสติกส์

 

ทั้งนี้ ความร่วมมือด้านโลจิสติกส์ระหว่างไทยกับโอมานเป็นอีกหนึ่งสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ และเป็นหนึ่งในสาขามุ่งเน้นสำหรับงาน Thai–Oman Business Forum ที่จะจัดขึ้นในโอกาสการเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการของรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโอมานในปี 2570

 

On 29 October 2026, Mr. Wattanachai Nirundorn, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Muscat, met with Ms. Thidarat Prasertphol, Senior Trade Manager of Regional Container Lines Public Company Limited (RCL), a Thai international shipping company specializing in maritime container transportation, on the occasion of RCL’s participation in the Muscat Maritime Resilience Forum 2026, held in Muscat on 27–28 October 2026.

 

During the meeting, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. welcomed the RCL representative and expressed his pleasure at the company’s participation in the forum. He noted that the forum provided an important opportunity for international maritime transport operators to exchange information with relevant Omani authorities, with a view to promote resilience and continuity of maritime supply chains amid regional conflicts affecting the logistics sector.

 

The RCL representative expressed her appreciation to the Embassy for its support in facilitating the company’s participation in the forum. She noted that the event provided a valuable opportunity to establish networks with international maritime shipping stakeholders and gain insights into Oman’s logistics potential and capabilities.

 

Logistics is a promising area of cooperation between Thailand and Oman and has been identified as one of the key focus sectors for the Thai–Oman Business Forum, which is scheduled to take place during the official visit by the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman to Thailand in 2027.
