ในโอกาสดังกล่าวคณะยังได้พบหารือกับ Dr. Hani Al Qadi ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานสาธารณสุข แคว้นโดฟาร์ หารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านสาธารณสุข เพื่อส่งเสริมการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและบุคคลากรด้านสาธารณสุขที่จะเกิดขึ้นในแคว้นโดฟาร์ เพื่อรองรับนักท่องเที่ยวชาวอาหรับและยุโรปในช่วงฤดูท่องเที่ยวที่คาดว่าจะมีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้นในอนาคต นอกจากนี้ คณะยังได้เยือนโรงงานผลิตเวชภัณฑ์ยาในเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษซาลาลาห์ และรับทราบข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับความต้องการยาภายในประเทศโอมาน มาตราฐานการผลิตยา และศักยภาพของเมืองซาลาลาห์ในการผลิตเวชภัณฑ์ยาเพื่อตอบสนองต่อความต้องการภายในประเทศและการส่งออก

 

On September 24, 2025, Ms. Warunee PAN-KRAJANG, Ambassador of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman together with Ambassadors and Deputy Head of Mission of ASEAN member states in Muscat paid a courtesy call on His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, at the Dhofar Governor's Office in Salalah. The delegation discussed the cooperation between the ASEAN Committee in Muscat (ACM) and Dhofar Governorate and received a briefing on the economic potential of the Dhofar Region, particularly in tourism, health, and logistics, the major areas of the government development project in Salalah to upgrade Salalah's infrastructure and urban planning towards a full-fledged seaside tourism city under Oman Vision 2040, which will lead to further cooperation.

 

On this occasion, the delegation also met with Dr. Hani Al Qadi, Director General of Health Service of Dhofar Governorate. Both sides discussed ways to promote cooperation in the health sector to support the plan to develop public health infrastructure and medical staff in the Dhofar Region, especially to meet the health demand of the expected increasing number of Arab and European tourists during the tourism season. The delegation also visited pharmaceutical factories in the Salalah Industrial Area and Free Zone and learned about Oman's pharmaceutical demand, production standards and the potential of Salalah City to produce pharmaceutical products for domestic consumption and export.
