เมื่อวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2568 นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารของ ปตท.สผ. นำโดยนายฐิติ ทองเย็น รักษาการรองกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่กลุ่มงานโครงการผลิตต่างประเทศ ที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือความคืบหน้าของการดำเนินธุรกิจของ ปตท.สผ. ในโอมาน โดย ปตท.สผ. มองว่า โอมานมีที่ตั้งเชิงยุทธศาสตร์อยู่นอกอ่าวเปอร์เซีย มีนโยบายการต่างประเทศที่เป็นกลาง เอื้อต่อการขยายการลงทุนต่อไปในระยะยาว จึงมีแผนจะขยายการลงทุนเพิ่มเติมโดยยังคงเน้นน้ำมันและก๊าซธรรมชาติเป็นหลัก
เอกอัครราชทูตได้แสดงความยินดีแก่นายวิฑูรย์ ชัยสมบูรณ์พันธ์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ โครงการภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลาง ที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือกับฝ่ายโอมาน และครบกำหนดการปฏิบัติหน้าที่และการเข้ารับหน้าที่ใหม่ที่มาเลเซีย และกล่าวต้อนรับนายกฤษณ์ ลิมบานเย็น ผู้จัดการอาวุโสฝ่ายพานิชย์ปิโตรเลียม ที่จะเข้ารับหน้าที่ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ โครงการภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลางแทน โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตพร้อมที่จะสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานของ ปตท.สผ. ในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือกับฝ่ายโอมานต่อจากนี้ โดยจะทำงานร่วมกันอย่างใกล้ชิดในฐานะทีมประเทศไทยร่วมกันต่อไป
นอกจากนี้ เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2568 เอกอัครราชทูต ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอำลาเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ นายวิฑูรย์ ชัยสมบูรณ์พันธ์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ โครงการภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลาง ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต โดยมีนางสาว Maria Ribeiro, General Manager ปตท. สผ. สำนักงานโอมาน และ
คณะผู้บริหารของ ปตท.สผ. นางสาวมนุวดี เกิดอุดม ผู้ชำนาญการด้านสัญญาและการค้าปิโตรเลียม
และนางกมนมณี ฉายเหมือนวงศ์ เจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงานอาวุโสเข้าร่วมด้วย ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาทรัพยากรบุคคลระหว่าง ปตท.สผ. และ PDO - Petroleum Development Oman โดยการแลกเปลี่ยนการฝึกอบรมเจ้าหน้าที่ระหว่างกันด้วย ซึ่งขณะนี้ PDO ได้ส่งเจ้าหน้าที่ 1 คน ไปฝึกอบรมกับ ปตท.สผ. ในไทยแล้ว ปตท.สผ. กำลังจะส่งเจ้าหน้าที่มาฝึกอบรมกับ PDO ในโอมานต่อไป
On 10 September 2025 H.E. Miss Warunee PAN-KRAJANG, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, welcomed the delegation of PTTEP (Petroleum Authority of Thailand Exploration and Production) led by Mr. Titi Thongjen, Acting Executive Vice President, International Production Asset Group. On this occasion, both sides discussed PTTEP's business operations in Oman. PTTEP views Oman as a country with a strategic location outside the Persian Gulf, with a neutral foreign policy conducive to long-term investment expansion. The potential investment expansion plan will continue focusing on oil and natural gas.
On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed her appreciation and congratulations to Mr. Vitoon Chaisomboonphan, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager, Middle East Asset, on his successful completion of his term of office and his new assignment in Malaysia. The Ambassador also welcomed and congratulated Mr. Krit Limbanyen, Vice President, Petroleum Commercial Department, on his appointment as the new Senior Vice President, Regional Manager, Middle East Asset. The Royal Thai Embassy stands ready to support PTTEP's operations in Oman and continue to work closely together as Team Thailand.
In addition, on 16 September 2025, the Ambassador hosted a farewell luncheon in honor of Mr. Vitoon Chaisomboonphan, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager, Middle East Asset, at the Ambassador's residence. The luncheon was also attended by PTTEP executives, Ms. Maria Ribeiro, General Manager PTTEP Oman, Ms. Manuwadi Kerdudom, Principal, Petroleum Contracts and Trading, and Mrs. Kamonmanee Chaimuanwong, Senior Coordinator to discuss human resource development cooperation between PTTEP and PDO in exchange of personal training between the two organisations.
