เอกอัครราชทูต ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการค้าในต่างประเทศฯ และผู้ส่งออกไทย ได้หารือแนวทางพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการค้าระหว่างไทย - โอมาน สถานการณ์การส่งออกสินค้าไทยเข้าสู่ภูมิภาค ผลกระทบจากการปิดช่องแคบฮอร์มุซ และศักยภาพของโอมานในการเป็นเส้นทางลำเลียงสินค้าทั้งจากยูเออีสู่โอมาน และจากท่าเรือโอมานสู่ยูเออีโดยการขนส่งทางบก การเชิญผู้แทนกระทรวงเกษตร ประมง และทรัพยากรน้ำของโอมานเยือนไทยเพื่อพบหารือผู้ผลิตและส่งออกอาหารและสินค้าเกษตรของไทยในงาน THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2026 ต่อเนื่องจากการดำเนินโครงการของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เมื่อปี 2568

 

หลังจากนั้น เอกอัครราชทูตได้มอบหมายนายวัฒนชัย นิรันดร อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา ร่วมกับผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการค้าในต่างประเทศฯ และผู้ส่งออกไทย ได้เดินทางไปพบหารือและเยี่ยมชมคลังสินค้าของบริษัท Alreef ซึ่งเป็นผู้ประกอบการโลจิสติกส์และกระจายสินค้ารายใหญ่ในโอมานที่มีลูกค้าเป็นซุปเปอร์มาเก็ตขนาดใหญ่ในโอมาน อาทิ LULU Nesto และ Hyper Max ซึ่งมีสินค้านำเข้าจากไทยได้แก่ ปลาทูน่ากระป๋อง ขนมขบเคี้ยว และน้ำมะพร้าว เป็นต้น โดยในอนาคตมีแผนจะนำเข้าอาหารสัตว์เลี้ยงมาจากประเทศไทยด้วย

 

ในโอกาสนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ได้ร่วมกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ เมืองดูไบ มอบประกาศนียบัตร Thai SELECT แก่ร้านอาหารไทยในโอมาน ได้แก่ Charm Thai, Mai Thai และ Tiptara ด้วย

 

On 5 May 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Warunee Pan-Krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, met with Mr. Pitichai Rattanaka, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Dubai, Team Thailand in the Sultanate of Oman, and Al Rabia Al Diam Food and Beverage Trading LLC and Ever Spring Industry Limited, exporters of Thai products to the United Arab Emirates and Middle East region, on their visit to Oman to meet and discuss with the Thai Ambassador and Omani potential partners, exploring opportunities to further expand Thai products into the Omani market. On this occasion, the Thai Ambassador welcomed and expressed the Royal Thai Embassy's support to the company’s initiative to expand its market presence into Oman.

 

The Thai Ambassador, the Director of the Thai Trade Center, and the Thai exporter discussed ways to enhance Thailand–Oman economic and trade cooperation, the export situation of Thai products to the region, the impacts of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as Oman’s logistics corridor for transportation of goods from Thailand via UAE to Oman, and vice versa from Thailand via Omani ports and land routes to the UAE and MENA in this situation. They also discussed the Thai side's invitation to Oman Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources' representatives to re-visit Thailand to meet and discuss continued trade and investment collaboration with

Thai food and agricultural producers and exporters at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2026, building on initiatives undertaken by the Embassy for their visit to this event organised last year in 2025.

 

Subsequently, the Ambassador assigned Minister-Counsellor Mr. Wattanachai Nirundorn, to join the Director of the Thai Trade Center and the Thai exporters in visiting the warehouse of Alreef Company, a major logistics and distribution operator in Oman and supplier for hypermarkets in Oman, including LULU, Nesto, and Hyper Max, which imports Thai products include canned tuna, snacks, and coconut water and seek to import pet food from Thailand in the future.

 

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy in Muscat and the Thai Trade Center in Dubai, also visited and presented Thai SELECT certificates to renowned Thai restaurants in Oman, namely Charm Thai, Mai Thai and Tiptara
