On 4 July 2019, H.E. Mr. Suwat Kaewsook, Ambassador of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, chaired the 34th ASEAN Committee in Muscat (ACM) meeting, attended by the heads of ASEAN diplomatic and consular missions in Muscat, composes of H.E. Haji Sulaini Bin Haji Said, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Musthofa Taufik Abdul Latif, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Shahril Effendi Abd. Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia,  H.E. Narciso T Castańeda, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines and H.E Dr. Edmund Chia, Consul-General, Republic of Singapore. The committee has discussed on vary issues to enhance closer cooperation between all ASEAN diplomatic and consular missions in Muscat.
