On Tuesday 24^th September 2019 upon the invitation of Al Dhohirah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H.E. Suwat Kaewsook, Ambassador of Thailand as the Chair of ASEAN Committee in Muscat, together with H.E. Musthofa  Abdul latif, Ambassador of Indonesia, H.E. Haji Sulaini Bin Haji Said, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Dr. Edmund Chia Keng Wei, Consul General of Singapore and Mr. Muhammad Azmi bin Abdullah, Charge d’Affaires of Malaysia, visited the city of Ibri to discuss prospects for business cooperation and opportunities with members of the provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation were warmly welcomed by H.E. Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and H.E. Saif bin Said bin Rashid Al-Badi, Chairman of the Ibri Chamber of Commerce.

ASEAN heads of diplomatic missions also paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sheikh Saif bin Hamair Al Malik Al Shehi, Governor of Al Dhohirah.
