สถานเอกอัครราชทูตได้เชิญผู้เข้าร่วมงานร่วมยืนสงบนิ่งเพื่อถวายอาลัยแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง รวมทั้งไว้อาลัยแก่ผู้เสียชีวิตและผู้ได้รับผลกระทบจากอุทกภัยและภัยพิบัติธรรมชาติทั้งในภาคใต้ของไทยและในประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน และได้กล่าวย้ำความเชื่อมั่นในประเทศไทยหลังเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว และศักยภาพของจังหวัดอื่น ๆ ทั่วประเทศด้วย

 

นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ได้กล่าวขอบคุณในนามประชาชนไทย ที่สุลต่านฮัยซัม บิน ฏอริก แห่งโอมานได้ทรงมีข้อความพระราขสาส์นไปยังพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ถวายอาลัยในการเสด็จสวรรคตของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง รวมถึงข้อความถวายอาลัยในนามรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโอมาน และได้กล่าวถึงการทรงมีข้อความพระราชสาส์นจากพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวมายังสุลต่านแห่งโอมานถวายความยินดีในโอกาสวันชาติโอมานเมื่อวันที่ 20 พฤศจิกายน 2568 แสดงถึงความสัมพันธ์ใกล้ชิดระหว่างไทย-โอมาน

 

เอกอัครราชทูตได้กล่าวเทิดพระเกียรติในพระราชกรณียกิจและพระมหากรุณาธิคุณที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ทรงเสด็จพระราชดำเนินเยี่ยมราษฎรและพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและคุณภาพชีวิตของพสกนิกรโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในถิ่นทุรกันดารทั่วประเทศ ผ่านโครงการโดยพระราชดำริที่ออกแบบอย่างเฉพาะเจาะจงเพื่อแก้ปัญหาในบริบทที่แตกต่างกันของแต่ละชุมชน บนหลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในหลากหลายด้าน ซึ่งรวมถึงการฟื้นฟูดิน การชลประทาน การสร้างฝนเทียม การศึกษาทางไกล การส่งเสริมศิลปาชีพ การส่งเสริมศาสนาและสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม การสาธารณสุข การอนุรักษ์ป่า น้ำ และสิ่งแวดล้อม การทรงอุทิศพระวรกายเพื่อพสกนิกรตลอด 70 ปีแห่งการครองราชย์จะยังคงนำทางและเป็นแรงบันดาลใจแก่ชาวไทยสืบไป

 

เอกอัครราชทูตได้กล่าวย้ำความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่าง ไทย-โอมาน ซึ่งครบรอบ 45 ปีแห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตในปี 2568 นี้ ซึ่งทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมกันดำเนินกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ภาพรวมในทุกระดับ รวมถึง (1) การนำคณะผู้แทนภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนโอมานเยือนไทยเมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคม เพื่อส่งเสริมการค้าการลงทุนด้านอาหารและสินค้าเกษตร (2) การจัดเทศกาลไทย ภาพยนตร์ไทย และนำภาคธุรกิจ SMEs ไทยเยือนโอมานเมื่อเดือนสิงหาคม (3) การเสวนาไทย-โอมาน แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และบทบาทของทั้งสองฝ่ายในการส่งเสริมสันติภาพในภูมิภาคของแต่ละฝ่าย และบทบาทของสถาบันหลักของชาติในการพัฒนาประเทศของแต่ละฝ่ายเมื่อเดือนตุลาคม (4) การหารือทวิภาคีเพื่อเพิ่มพูนความสัมพันธ์ไทย-โอมาน ที่จะมีขึ้นในเดือนธันวาคมนี้ ความก้าวหน้าของความสัมพันธ์ด้านการค้า การลงทุนการท่องเที่ยว และความสัมพันธ์ระดับประชาชน ระหว่างไทย-โอมาน สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และชุมชนไทยในโอมานมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์กับฝ่ายโอมานให้ยิ่งขึ้นไป ประเทศไทยจะเป็นหุ้นส่วนระยะยาวของฝ่ายโอมานในการเดินทางสู่เป้าหมายของวิสัยทัศน์โอมาน ปี ค.ศ. 2040

 

ในโอกาสนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ฉายวีดิทัศน์พระราชกรณียกิจของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ศักยภาพของไทยในด้านต่าง ๆ การลงทุนของไทยในโอมาน และศิลป์ของแผ่นดิน ส่งเสริมความเข้าใจในประเทศไทยให้แก่รัฐผู้รับและประชาคมระหว่างประเทศภายในงานด้วย

 

นอกจากนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้จัดให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ร่วมกิจกรรมเฉลิมพระเกียรติและเสริมสร้างการรับรู้เกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมไทยผ่านชุดไทยพระราชนิยม โดยใช้โปรแกรม AI Photo สร้างภาพจำลองการสวมใส่ชุดไทยพระราชนิยมแบบต่าง ๆ มีผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมจำนวนมากทั้งฝ่ายโอมานและชาวต่างชาติอื่น ๆ ซึ่งช่วยส่งเสริมความเข้าใจในวัฒนธรรมไทยที่ทรงสร้างสรรค์ และส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ในระดับประชาชนได้อย่างดี

 

On 3 December 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Muscat hosted a reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty The Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand's Father’s Day 5 December 2025, inviting local partners of Thailand from public and private sectors of the Sultanate of Oman and members of the diplomatic corps.

His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources of Oman graciously attended the event as Guest of Honour, along with other high-level representatives of Oman including His Excellency Dr. Said bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Members of State and Shura Councils, Ministry of Commerce, Foreign Ministry and Royal Oman Police. Also attended the reception were colleagues, partners and friends of Thailand, Their Excellencies Ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps and international organizations.

 

A moment of silence is observed in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, as well as those who lost their lives in the recent severe flooding and natural disasters in southern Thailand and in neighboring countries. The Ambassador reaffirmed confidence in Thailand as the weather have already improved and other provinces across the country remain safe and fully operational.

 

H.E. Ms. Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the Thai people for the message of condolence from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said of Oman to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, as well as the message of condolence on behalf of His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman. The Ambassador also referred to the congratulatory message from His Majesty the King to His Majesty the Sultan on the occasion of Oman National Day on 20 November 2025, reflecting close relations between Thailand and Oman.

 

The Ambassador paid tribute to Their Majesties The Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother who, throughout 70-year reign, visited their people in remote areas, listened to their problems and tirelessly contributed to their well-being and the development of the country through royal initiatives designed specifically for particular context of each community, to help solve their particular problems based on the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, which eventually improves their economy and quality of lives. These includes Royal Initiatives in diverse areas, from improving soil, irrigation, rain-making to remote education.

 

Her Majesty the Queen Mother's efforts in promoting local craftsmanship and arts, bringing local production to customers and markets helped improved local economy of people in rural areas and preserved local wisdom of arts at the same time. Their Majesties also supported a multicultural and interfaith society, promoted public health in remote areas, as well as preservation of forest, and encourage sustainable coexistence with nature. Their Majesties lifelong dedication continues to guide and inspire Thai people.

 

The Ambassador reiterated close and longstanding friendship between Thailand and Oman. Both sides have jointly advanced relations at all levels this year 2025 which marks the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations which include (1) the visit of representatives from Omani government and private sectors to THAIFEX-Anuga Asia, one of the biggest food and beverages trade fair in Thailand, in May to promote trade and investment in food and agricultural products; (2) Thai Festival, Thai Film screening and Thai SMEs business mission came to Oman in August; (3) Oman-Thailand Workshop in October, sharing one another's experience in promoting peace in their respective regions and roles of their national institutions in the development of their respective nations; and (4) the upcoming Political Consultation in this month of December in Muscat to be hosted by the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman.

 

The Royal Thai Embassy and Thai community in Oman are deeply committed to continue to strengthening cooperation with our Omani partners. Thailand is, and will continue to be, long-term partner in Oman's journey to Oman's vision 2040 goal.

 

Video presentations were shown at the reception on Their Majesties the Late King and The Queen Mother's contribution to the nation, Thailand’s strengths and potential, Thai investments in Oman, as well as "Arts of the Kingdom", to promote deeper understanding about Thailand among the locals and the international community in Oman.

 

In addition, the Embassy arranged an activity using AI photo application to create customized images of our guests wearing various styles of Thai Royal traditional dress. The activity attracted much interest from Omani and foreign guests at the reception brought a lot of fun and promoted people-to-people relations through culture.
