เมื่อวันที่ 6 มิถุนายน 2569 นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่ชาวไทยพุทธของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้าร่วมพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลเนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชาที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกา ณ กรุงมัสกัต ตามคำเชิญของนาย Kapila de Alwis เอกอัครราชทูตศรีลังกาประจำโอมาน โดยได้ร่วมสวดพระพุทธมนต์ ถวายภัตตาหารเพลด้วยอาหารไทย และฟังพระธรรมเทศนาจากพระสงฆ์ซึ่งเดินทางมาจากศรีลังกาเพื่อประกอบพิธีแก่ชุมชนศรีลังกาในโอกาสดังกล่าว

On 6 June 2026, H.E. Ms. Warunee Pankrajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman together with Buddhist diplomats and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Muscat were delighted to participate in the merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the Vesak Day at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Muscat at kind invitation of H.E. Kapila de Alwis, Ambassador of Sri Lanka. The two embassies joined in praying, presenting offerings including Thai food, and listening to a Dhamma sermon delivered by Sri Lankan monks travelling from Sri Lanka for this particular occasion.
