เมื่อวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2569 นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ได้เข้าอำลา H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศรัฐสุลต่านโอมาน ในโอกาสสิ้นสุดการหน้าที่

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้กล่าวขอบคุณรัฐมนตรีฯ และกระทรวงการต่างประเทศรัฐสุลต่านโอมาน สำหรับความร่วมมือและการสนับสนุนตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ไทย - โอมาน มีความก้าวหน้าอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งการพบหารือระหว่างรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ไทย-โอมาน (นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ตำแหน่งในขณะนั้น) ในห้วงการประชุมสมัชชาใหญ่สหประชาชาติในเดือนกันยายน 2568 ณ นครนิวยอร์ก  การประชุมหารือทางการเมืองไทย - โอมานครั้งที่ 2 ในเดือนธันวาคม 2568 ณ กรุงมัสกัต การเยือนโอมานอย่างเป็นทางการของนายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ เมื่อวันที่ 15 - 16 เมษายน 2569 และการเยือนไทยอย่างเป็นทางการของรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโอมานที่จะมีขึ้นในไตรมาสแรกของปี 2570

รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศโอมานได้กล่าวขอบคุณเอกอัครราชทูตฯ สำหรับความพยายามและความทุ่มเทในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย - โอมาน หวังจะเห็นความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย - โอมาน เพิ่มขึ้น โดยเฉพาะด้านการค้าและการลงทุน และยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการพร้อมคณะนักธุรกิจโอมานต้นปีหน้านี้

On 15 September 2026, H.E. Ms. Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, paid a farewell call on H.E. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, on the occasion of the completion of her tenure.

The Thai Ambassador expressed her sincere appreciation to the Foreign Minister and the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman for their support and cooperation throughout her tenure leading to growing momentum in Thailand–Oman relations, as reflected in a number of significant developments, including the meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Thailand and Oman (H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, the then Minister of Foreign Affairs) on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2025 in New York ; the 2nd Thailand–Oman Political Consultations, in December 2025 in Muscat; the official visit to Oman by H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, on 15–16 April 2026; as well as the forthcoming official visit to Thailand by H.E. the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

The Minister expressed his appreciation to the Ambassador for her dedication and commitment to further strengthening Thailand–Oman relations and wished to see more cooperation between both countries, particularly in the areas of trade and investment, and looked forward to his official visit to Thailand with Omani business delegation early next year.
