อุปทูตมาเลเซียได้สรุปผลการประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 47 การประชุมสุดยอดระหว่างอาเซียนกับประเทศคู่เจรจา และการประชุมในประเด็นที่อาเซียนให้ความสำคัญ ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 26 – 28 ตุลาคม 2568 ที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์แก่ที่ประชุม

 

เอกอัครราชทูตไทยได้สรุปให้ที่ประชุมทราบความคืบหน้าและท่าทีไทยจากการประชุมคณะกรรมาธิการเขตแดนร่วมไทย-กัมพูชา (JBC) สมัยวิสามัญ ที่จังหวัดจันทบุรี เมื่อวันที่ 21-22 ตุลาคม 2568 การประชุมคณะกรรมการชายแดนทั่วไป (GBC) ไทย-กัมพูชา สมัยพิเศษ ครั้งที่ 2 ที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เมื่อวันที่ 23 ตุลาคม 2568 รวมถึงแถลงการณ์ร่วมระหว่างนายกรัฐมนตรีไทยและนายกรัฐมนตรีกัมพูชา ที่ลงนามที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เมื่อวันที่ 26 ตุลาคม 2568 ในช่วงการประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 47 ไทยขอบคุณสหรัฐฯ และมาเลเซียในฐานะประธานอาเซียน ที่มีบทบาทสร้างสรรค์ในการอำนวยความสะดวกการหารือระหว่างไทยกับกัมพูชา ไทยยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นปฏิบัติตามข้อตกลงที่บรรลุในที่ประชุมดังกล่าวด้วยความหวังว่ากัมพูชาจะร่วมมืออย่างจริงใจเพื่อสร้างสันติภาพ ความไว้วางใจ และเสถียรภาพระยะยาวระหว่างสองประเทศ

On 10 November 2025, H.E. Ms. Warunee PAN-KRAJANG, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, attended the 51st Meeting of ASEAN Committee in Muscat (ACM) which reviewed the outcomes of activities held during the second half of 2025 under the chairmanship of the Ambassador of the Philippines including (1) ASEAN courtesy call on H.E. Khalid Hilal Nasser Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of Oman on 3 September 2025 (2) ASEAN Friendship Golf Tournament 2025 with participation of members of the diplomatic corps and representatives from Omani government and business sectors on 12 September 2025 (3) a visit to Salalah, during which ACM members paid a courtesy call on His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, held discussions with Dr. Hani Al Qadi, Director General of Health Service of Dhofar Governorate, and visited pharmaceutical factories in the Salalah Industrial Area and Free Zone on 24 September 2025 and (4) a briefing on ASEAN to the Oman National Defence College on 7 October 2025. This 51st meeting also discussed future collaboration with other Omani sectors to further strengthen ASEAN–Oman relations at all levels.

 

Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia briefed the meeting on the outcomes of the 47th ASEAN Summit, the Summits between ASEAN and Dialogue Partners and other related meetings on key issues held in Kuala Lumpur during 26–28 October 2025.

 

Ambassador of Thailand updated the meeting on developments and Thailand’s position following the Special Meeting of the Thai - Cambodian Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) in Chanthaburi province of Thailand on 21 - 22 October 2025 and the 2nd Special General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 23 October 2025, as well as the Joint Declaration by the Prime Minister of Thailand and the Prime Minister of Cambodia on the outcomes of their meeting in Kuala Lumpur on 26 October 2025 during the 47th ASEAN Summit. Thailand expressed appreciation to the United States and Malaysia, in its capacity as ASEAN Chair, for their constructive roles in facilitating dialogue between Thailand and Cambodia. Thailand reaffirmed its commitment to implementing the agreements reached in the above-mentioned meetings with the hope that Cambodia would work together in good faith to promote peace, mutual trust, and long-term stability between the two countries.

 

After the meeting, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam hosted a luncheon for the ACM.
