เมื่อวันที่ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ได้เชิญนางนงนุช เพ็ชรรัตน์ อดีตเอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐออสเตรีย และสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี
ที่ปรึกษาพิเศษด้านการต่างประเทศของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (สกพอ.) อดีตอธิบดีกรมอเมริกาและแปซิฟิกใต้ อดีตรองหัวหน้าคณะเจรจาความตกลงเขตการค้าเสรี ไทย-สหรัฐอเมริกา อดีตเอกอัครราชทูตประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศซึ่งกำกับดูแลสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และปัจจุบันเป็นวิทยากรในหลักสูตรอบรมข้าราชการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศระดับต่าง ๆ ของสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการฯ ซึ่งอยู่ในกรุงมัสกัตในสัปดาห์ดังกล่าว บรรยายอบรมข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ในหัวข้อ “คุณสมบัติที่ต้องพัฒนาและความเชี่ยวชาญที่ต้องสั่งสม ในการพัฒนาเป็นนักการทูตมืออาชีพและข้าราชการธุรการที่สามารถสนับสนุนภารกิจของคณะผู้แทนไทยในต่างประเทศได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ” เพื่อให้ข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตได้มีโอกาสรับฟังมุมมองและประสบการณ์ของนักการทูตมืออาชีพอาวุโสของไทย ที่พัฒนาทันความเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลก เห็นมุมมองของต่างประเทศรวมถึงภาคเอกชน เพื่อขยายโลกทัศน์ เป็นแรงบันดาลใจ และเป็นการพัฒนาบุคลากรของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ภายหลังการบรรยายเอกอัครราชทูตได้เป็นเจ้าภาพอาหารค่ำแก่วิทยากรและข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตที่เข้ารับการอบรมด้วย

On 19 February 2025, H.E. Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, invited Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Former Thai Ambassador to Austria and Germany, Special Advisor of the Office of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), Former Director-General of the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Former Deputy Chief Negotiator for the Thai-US Free Trade Agreement, Former Ambassador overseeing Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), MFA of Thailand, and current speaker for several MFA DVIFA's training courses for diplomats at different levels, who were in Muscat during the week, to share her views and experience to officials of the Embassy on “Qualifications and Expertise needed to be developed to become a “professional” diplomat and an administrative staff who supports the operation of a mission of Thailand in a foreign country efficiently.” The session was aimed to inspire and develop the Embassy's personnels by providing them an opportunity to discuss with the Thai senior world-class diplomat. After the talk and discussion, the Ambassador hosted dinner to the guest speaker and all diplomats and staff attended.
