เมื่อค่ำวันที่ 21 มีนาคม 2568 นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพงานเลี้ยงอาหารไทยละศีลอดในเดือนรอมฎอนแก่นักเรียนนักศึกษาไทยมุสลิมที่ได้รับทุนจากรัฐบาลโอมาน เพื่อพบปะสังสรรค์กับเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตในฐานะครอบครัวสำหรับนักเรียนนักศึกษาเหล่านี้ซึ่งล้วนมีครอบครัวอยู่ที่ประเทศไทย กิจกรรมนี้สถานเอกอัครราชทูตจัดต่อเนื่องทุกปี และใช้โอกาสนี้พูดคุยสอบถามถึงชีวิตความเป็นอยู่การศึกษาในโอมาน แลกเปลี่ยนทรรศนะ ระหว่างรับประทานอาหารไทยร่วมกัน ปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนไทยศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่สถาบัน Institute of Islamic Sciences จำนวน 12 คน และนักศึกษาไทยที่มหาวิทยาลัย College of Shari'a Sciences จำนวน 2 คน โดยทุนของรัฐบาลโอมาน

On 21 March 2025, H.E. Miss Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, hosted the Iftar/dinner of Thai food for Thai Muslim students who received scholarships from the government of Oman. This activity is organized every year for Thai students living far from home to get together and meet with the Thai Ambassador, diplomats and Embassy’s staff who are their family here in Oman to follow up with their well-being, their study and life in Oman, also an opportunity to exchange viewpoints while having delicious Thai food together. Currently, there are 12 Thai students studying high school at the Institute of Islamic Sciences and 2 studying at the College of Shari’a Sciences, with scholarships from the Omani Government.
