เมื่อค่ำวันที่ 20 มีนาคม 2568 น.ส. วารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพอาหารไทยละศีลอดในเดือนรอมฎอนเป็นเกียรติแก่ Sheikh Humaid bin Ali bin Sultan Al Maani ผู้อำนวยการ สถาบันการทูต กระทรวงการต่างประเทศโอมาน และนาย Ahmed Abdullah Al Risi เจ้าหน้าที่ เพื่อแสดงความขอบคุณในความร่วมมือนับแต่เอกอัครราชทูตเดินทางมารับหน้าที่ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง การเตรียมการระหว่างกันและให้การต้อนรับผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของไทยเดินทางมาเข้าร่วมการประชุมว่าด้วยมหาสมุทรอินเดียครั้งที่ 8 ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศโอมานเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดขึ้นที่กรุงมัสกัตเมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ที่ผ่านมา ในโอกาสนี้ทั้งสองยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย-โอมาน รวมถึงความเป็นไปได้ที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตและสถาบันการต่างประเทศภายใต้กระทรวงการต่างประเทศของไทยและโอมาน จะร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมทางวิชาการเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนทรรศนะเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาคทั้งสองและหัวข้ออื่น ๆ ที่เป็นความสนใจร่วมกัน

On 20 March 2025, H.E. Miss Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, hosted an Iftar/dinner of Thai food in honour of H.E. Ambassador Sheikh Humaid bin Ali bin Sultan Al Maani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy, Foreign Ministry of Oman and Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Risi to express appreciation for kind cooperation received since she took office, especially the preparation and facilitation for the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand who participated in the 8^th Indian Ocean Conference hosted by the Foreign Ministry of Oman in Muscat in February. On this occasion, both parties exchanged views on ways to promote Thai-Oman relations, including the possibility for the Embassy, the Diplomatic Academy, and the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, to jointly organize academic activities to exchange views on situation in both regions and other topics of mutual interest.
