เมื่อวันที่ 28 มกราคม 2568 นางสาววารุณี ปั้นกระจ่าง เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมัสกัต ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ H.E. Mr. Kim Kiejoo เอกอัครราชทูตเกาหลีใต้ประจำโอมาน ในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ ทั้งสองได้หารือการร่วมทุนของ ปตท.สผ. ของไทย กับบริษัทของเกาหลีและฝรั่งเศสในโครงการพลังงานไฮโดรเจนสีเขียวของโอมาน ที่อยู่ระหว่างการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้และประเมินการลงทุน แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเพื่อการบรรลุเป้าหมายการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและการทูตเชิงวัฒนธรรมของแต่ละฝ่าย สถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค การคุ้มครองคนชาติ และบทบาทโอมานในความร่วมมือทางทะเล ทั้งสองฝ่ายแสดงความพร้อมเป็นอีกช่องทางหนึ่งในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย-เกาหลีใต้

On 28 January 2025, H.E. Ms. Warunee Pan-krajang, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Kim Kiejoo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Sultanate of Oman, on the occasion of her assumption of duty. The two discussed the joint venture of PTTEP with Korean and French companies in Oman's green hydrogen project in Duqm, which is currently under feasibility study. They exchanged information on the policies of both countries to achieve climate change targets, cultural diplomacy, regional situation, protection of their nationals and Oman's role in maritime cooperation. Both sides confirmed their readiness to be another channel to promote Thai-Korean relations.
